The company was founded in 1979 by Maurice & Donna Pickard of Meaford, Ontario. Regional offices & yards are situated in Huntsville, London, North Bay, Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Chatham and in St. Thomas Ontario. The head office, major shop facility and main yard are located in Owen Sound, Ontario. Since its inception Pickard Construction has grown from two employees in one location to over 150 employees at eight permanent Ontario locations. The company continues to be solely owned and operated by its founders. The company has successfully completed major projects as far north as Kapuskasing, as far east as Peterborough, as far west as Thunder Bay, and as far south as Windsor.
